Guild Wars and EAX
Does anyone know of any way, that you can turn OFF EAX in guild wars??
theres nothing more annoying, than turning off all guild wars sounds, hoping to listen to some mp3's or something, and when guild wars starts up, it changes how things sound (Sound Blaster EAX) -- Every time you enter a new area or zone, the 'environment sound' changes, so in the process of playing Guild Wars, you get several different sounds like, phase, reverb, and echo's etc (all depending where you are in the game)
A-NET PLEASE ADD MORE SOUND OPTIONS!!

Actually GuildWars is using Microsoft's DirectSound3D and not using creative's EAX.
Only way to currently control it is via the Sound Quality Slider...
But I do agree with you about wanting more sound and directsong (within the client) control.

Definately, I agree too. More control FTW, and also, since I have an EAX-compatible card, I'd really like GW to be able to use it.

umm, If it uses DirectSound -- how does it switch enviroments to echo's, and stuff like that as i move through the game?? i know for sure DirectSound doesnt have any of that shit in..
and when GW is running, I cant adjust the EAX manually in the Creative Control panel..
